I got this stupid forward from a friend which was title "hu works for India?" there was some weird logic that set me

thinking... so I applied the same logic for real figures. The mail aims to prove that only two people work for India, using

half-fabricated figures... but I got hold of the real figures, and here they are:


The population of India is 100 crores

Assumed to be the correct figure for convinience

Ok, for the sake of accuracy, let us sacrifice convinience. The population of India is 1,030,400,293


But 19 crores are retired.

The correct figure stands at 26,04,35,100


That leaves 81 crores do the work.

There are 25 crores in school,

As amazing as it may sound, a total of 21,04,29,000 people are spending time in Prisons in India right now.

That leaves just 2 people to do the work.......

working! And that's why India is surviving!!!

You know what the scary part is? - THESE ARE THE REAL FIGURES!



12,35,36,193? Including the state governments? This is really impossible, but the answer has to be close to this right? In fact, when I looked up the various sources, I took the one that required the least chunk of the population in schools and retirement. The figures are considerably different in different sources, but it is the least here. 1991 census dominated most of these figures, and some independant estimates here and there. The real cunclusion that one can draw from this is that there are more than a billion people in India - much, much more.

And one more thing, there is no freaking thing known as the Indian Statistical Institute. The ISI, would be, well the ISI of pakistan that sends in a few people to check out kashmir and blow up Mumbai every now and then.
