A theory on Public Urinals

In India, it is common to hear people complaining about how smelly the urinals are. I don't see the point in this. In fact, the smellier the better. The typical smell of urine is because of the urea (like, megaduh) and urea is one of the worst things an organism can encounter. So urea kills pathogens, and therefore, you are less likely to contract diseases from a smelly urinal. In fact, it is dangerous to use a urinal that is NOT smelly, because it is not sufficiently disinfected.

Pretty weird, but true.

While loosely on the subject, it is funny how almost everyone avoids using the word 'toilet'. 'Loo', "Restroom', 'Washroom' and sometimes, however funny as it may seem, 'Latrine' seems to be somehow less emberassing alternatives. I guess its just something we as kids used to giggle over, and then we have the hangover.
